Pure reason unbound to spatial-temporal world; concerned with ontological analysis i.e. the reasoning on the nature of being for various entities e.g. philosophy is concerned with the substance of reason, natural theology is concerned with the nature of the divine, computing has to do with the nature and operations on discrete knowledge.
